Everything you need to know about the paperwork for donating your car in OK.
To transfer the title of a donated vehicle in Oklahoma, sign the title in the designated area on the back. Oklahoma does not require notarization for this process. Once signed, you should notify the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety (DPS) of the transfer, which can be done online or in person. If there's a lien holder, ensure their release is secured before the transfer. If you've lost the title, you can apply for a duplicate at your local DPS office.
After the donation is finalized, Tulsa Auto Bridge will take care of all necessary paperwork to ensure the transfer is seamless. This supports our mission to connect residents with benefits efficiently while helping to keep Tulsa's community strong.

3

Contact your insurance company to cancel your vehicle insurance policy, effective on the day of donation.
